Pallets travel on freight networks, not parcel networks. If you have only ever received parcels, almost everything about this is different.
What actually arrives
A tractor-trailer, or a smaller box truck on some residential routes. The driver is there to move freight, not to carry goods inside for you, and they will not leave a pallet unattended.
Your three options for getting it off the truck
Dock
Simplest. The trailer backs up and the pallet rolls straight off.
Forklift
Also fine. You take it off the bed yourself.
Liftgate
For everyone else. A powered platform lowers the pallet to ground level. Free on our loads, but you must ask before you order.
A liftgate on a full trailer is slow, because every pallet goes down one at a time. Allow for that if you have bought a truckload.
Delivery windows
Carriers call ahead to arrange a window on most residential and small commercial addresses. Someone has to be there. A missed delivery goes back to the terminal and redelivery costs time, and on some carriers money.
Timing
We process in 1 to 2 business days once payment clears, then transit takes 1 to 7 business days on the mainland, so 2 to 9 business days in total. Alaska and Hawaii take longer and depend on the sailing or flight that week, so ask us before you order and we will confirm.

Do you have a dock, a forklift, or do you need a liftgate?
Will someone be there to receive and sign?
Is there floor space for the pallet once it is down?
